Some 200 to 300 women gathered here yesterday, filling the streets of Kuala Lumpur, particularly Merdeka Square to share their unique sense of fashion. The PTPM, or more famously known as Persatuan Tudung Pelik Malaysia, made their presence known to the Malaysian public yesterday with their odd fashioned scarves, or tudungs.
The PTPM, headed by a prominent Malaysian politician, says that this is a great step for retarded tudungs in Malaysia.
According to the president of PTPM, tudung pelik or awkward or even weird scarves have become a part of Malaysian culture.
'It all started when I was 10, and wanted to start to wear the scarf. But since my mum is a slut, and doesn't wear a scarf, I had to learn how to wear it myself. Through the trial and success method, I reached tudung moksya. I wore the tudung in a new way, even though retarded, people thought I did it on purpose, when in fact, I just didn't know how to wear it' explained the President of PTPM.
Retarded tudungs or tudung pelik can be seen almost anywhere, from shopping centres to places of knowledge and even in the house of parliament.
