Michelin Man

http://thestar.com.my/news/story.asp?file=/2011/5/17/nation/8693120&sec=nation

By 2020, Malaysia expects to see 25% of university students obese. This article may be a bit outdated, but still, it's relevant since it refers to the future.

But really, how is this surprising. And I don't want to point the finger to the nasi lemak stalls at the corners, nor the canteen vendors at the Universities.

They say if you want to kill a snake, you chop its head off. The head is a key part of the body (in case you haven't noticed). And let us not limit the word body to Korper, or the body of a man, but let's include body, as in an organisation.

And, let's say Malaysia is a body. Malaysia is sort of an organisation, if not an establishment. Now, let's go DEEPER, and look at the head of Malaysia. None other than the current Prime Minister, Mr. Najib Razak. No offense Mr. Prime Minister, but, by my book you, sir, are overweight. But hey, let's not just take an example, and blow it out of proportion. Let's look at his Deputy, or the Deputy Prime Minister, Mr. Muhyiddin Yasin. You sir, no offense by the way, too, by my book, are overweight.

And we are complaining, that 'the rakyat' are obese? And we are writing articles saying people are going to be obese by 2020? Well, we surely can't blame them. Some people call the Prime Minister a leader. Some call him an icon. Call him what you want, he's an icon, a role model.

And if the leader(s) is(are) fat, no offense btw, so what if the rakyat are fat too? People  will go, eg:
'look, the PM is fat, the Deputy PM is fat. Their wives are fat too. Almost all Sultans (except Sultan of Terengganu imo) are overweight too. So what? I'm just 'berdaulat''

What's the big deal about being obese? What's the big deal? Kan? So what if I have trouble getting in the KTM, so what if I can't walk up a few stairs without losing my breath? So what kan? We'll still live, not healthily, but live nonetheless!

AND LIVE WE SHALL!
(Though I doubt the Sultans and PMs and Deputy PMs read this blog, I apologise if I offended Datuk Seri/Datin Seri/Tuanku/Puanku(?), but hamba serious rasa Datuk Seri/Datin Seri/Tuanku/Puanku(?) tak berapa slim)
