[STRONG LANGUAGE]
There is good noise and 'bad' noise, and noise I am referring to here is 'bad' noise.
(Loud) Noise is annoying, regardless of what kid of noise it is. Let's say someone were talking loudly in the KTM beside you, not loudly, but really really loudly. Most people from other than Negeri Sembilan and Selangor may not experience this as often as we do, but, it is annoying.
It doesn't matter if the person were speaking Malaysian, English, Tamil, Malayalam, Chinese, Zwahili, or whatever language, or even beatboxing, for that matter. Noise, it annoying. If you were in the cinema, and the person were to speak a language you understood, as opposed to a language you didn't understand, would that make it less annoying? Would it make it less 'wrong'?
No, noise is annoying, regardless of what language it is in.
This post is inspired by people saying 'Those loud chinese fuckers', when describing a group of loud people. Why does the ethnicity have to be stated? Would it be less annoying if they were 'Loud Indian fuckers'? Would it be less annoying if it were 'Loud Iban fuckers'? Would it be less annoying if they were screaming at the top of their lungs in a Kedah dialect? No.
Do not discriminate based on someone's ethnicity, when it is irrelevant.
Side story:
My friend, let's call her, Jane is telling a joke to her friend.
"do you want to hear a joke which I heard from an old friend?" Jane asks.
Her friend then goes "is your friend a Malay?"
Jane is perplexed and baffled. Are jokes from Malays funnier? Are jokes from people who aren't Malay mundane?
This happens to everyone. And even in interviews. Even in forms. When you apply for jobs in years to come, there will be lines where ' KAUM: ________' will have to be filled in. Why is this necessary in a multi-ethnic society? The reason is, because people who say things like 'Loud Chinese Fuckers' instead of just 'Loud Fuckers' are in Putrajaya, and are running the country.
And since my friends who say 'Loud Chinese Fuckers' instead of just 'Loud Fuckers' will too, run the country one day, (God Forbid), do not expect change anytime soon.
Biru melambangkan perpaduan or whatever shit. We may as well just make our flag Red, Yellow, and White, since the blue is a lie.
