Not Everybody

After a long day at school, we hop off the bus of van and run to the squeaky gate, and take off our white Bata shoes. "Ma!!! Orang da balik!!!" we shout, and your mum or kakak or aunty would say
 "
"dah makan dah?" or "camana sekolah?" or something.

That was primary school, sort of the glory days for nostalgia and the sort.

At night, Your mum or guardian would ask , or say (lets take me for an example so we can make a personal emotional connection) "lot dah siap kerja rumah ke? ma tengok lot tengok TV je..."

then around 7-ish when we come back from the playground, my mum would say
"lot taknak mandi ke? ma tengok lot kotor-kotor ni... pergi mandi kejap ok?"

And, like any kurang-ajar or stupid kid I, We, would say
"kejap la ma" or even worse "ma ni bising la, sabar la kejap"

but you see, sometimes people say things to you not because they want to piss you off, not because they hate you, but because what you are doing is not beneficial. You know? When your mum says that you should do your homework, it's not because she is jealous you get to watch telly, no.

It's because she loves you, and she cares. When my friend tells me to stop smoking, it is not because he wants  to smoke but can't because he doesn't have to money the cigs. You see? It's because they care, it's because we are doing something wrong, it's because we are not perfect, and sometimes we need a 'teguran' or a 'hey' or a 'weh elok-elok ah sikit' once in a while.

Dengan ini, saya ingin meminta maaf jika ada teguran yang saya 'ah ko bising ah' or 'ko diam sikit boleh tak?', dan selamat tengah hari kepada semua
