At the top right corner of the exam paper was the number 98 in a circle, and the word 'excellent' was written under her marks. She slumped and didn't talk to anyone during the rest of class. The thing is - she got the highest marks.
The other kids in the class were devastated by their grades - E's and D's. The worst part is that the finals are in a couple of months time. But there she was, butthurt by a deduction of 2percent - because she forgot to write units.

Just because you make a small mistake sometimes doesn't make you stupid. It doesn't make you a failure. It doesn't make you suck at the subject. This isn't some motivational talk, it is fact. Don't make a sweeping statement based on a small mistake.
Nobody like the guy who says 'I failed' - when in reality he got almost perfect marks. Nobody likes the girl who says 'she could've done better' - when she should've got full marks if it weren't for the bitchy lecturer.
Remember the days in class when you were partnered with some genius, and they did some small mistake - like forgetting to write a fullstop, and when you pointed out their small mistake they would say 'wah, kau ni pandai lah'. Come on, a monkey can see if you forget to write a dot at the end of a sentence.
